Taylormademan - Thanks for the feedback however there was absolutely no data loss on the changeover from the old forum. All posts are there and all the original authors are stored against them. Some members had problems when they signed in after the new site was launched because they had several identities in our membership database. So all you need to do is email using the contact form on teh RH side of any page and let us know your original login and we'll fix the rest. As for the policy changing - it won't...for every reason we have already mentioned. As muntz says - it takes very little effort to rack up 20 posts.

Will your Ad post count for the 20th post? or is it 20 posts then your Ad?

Nice one- From the first post in this thread "You must now have a minimum post count of 20 to place an ad here in the Classifieds. " HOpe that helps you in deciding to make that one extra post!

I think I might of broke this rule but should be able to get away on a technicality I believe, as I did not know of this rule until now and I was only letting the person know I had what they were looking for if they were interested I was not looking to sell. Hope I didnt upset anyone

You wouldn't have upset anyone LL. All it means is that new members cannot create a topic in the classifieds section. It's to stop people joining just to sell something. Although some just make inane comments on 20 other threads so they can then sell whatever it is the want to flog.

Silly question!!! I take it if someone has WTB and I happen to have that club or piece of golf equipment I cannot respond to the ad as I have only 16 posts! A bit unfair especially if the person posting his or her WTB ad misses out on getting the gear they are seeking! Please clarify is it a Yes or No!
