Fair call, but I reckon it'd have been worse had Monty kicked a footy or smacked a cricket ball for a living...

peanuts-Hi.
Journos don't put an embargo on anything that is newsworthy.
The only difference between golf and footy/cricket is that the last two are team sports.
If a sports person is a team player, then naturally the gossip will travel at a rapid pace. How often do you hear that a team mate has leaked news to the press, so that a spot can be taken by the snitch, and stuffing up the livelihood of an elite player. This is not new. It happens every day. Don't it.? jealousy, One of the seven deadly sins

Russino-Someone has to do the chores, cook, clean, put the rubbish bins out, bring in the money, etc. Maybe Rock came from a matriarchal background where he was used to women "being the organizers" or maybe I said 'Slave & Toil.
Rock must have had a gay old time, and enjoyed every minute. RIP- Rock. blink.gif

dgstones, you are a hypocrite.  You claim that there's nothing wrong with being homosexual, yet with your previous sentence you referred to gay people with a label generally acknowledged as a term of derision.

Your next post merely confirmed that you are a bigot.  This will sound strange coming from a 20 year-old, but its time you grew up!

Acknnowledged by whom? I have several gay friends who I refer to as poofs. Them and their gay friends. In conversation and about them to other people. I've never been told by them, nor have noticed any offence taken, by calling them poofs.

And the label 'bigot' is generally acknowledged as a term of derision. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Sorry to be off topic.

dry.gif Would the term homosexual be a term of derision ?

Everyone in society has a label, whether individuals get edgy about it -well, nobody has control over that.
Maybe all the "Homosexuals "on the planet may like to get on ISG and let us know how they would like to be refered 'as.'
Next we will have all the catholics saying they don't want to be refered to as Micks.

and the labelling goes on. and on and on.
Just like splitting the atom.
I have often heard some folk refer to others as "Bigots'' Talk about calling the pot black. ho-hum.

How about the 37 yo Australian golfer with a face like dropped pie (if I remember Judgesmails description correctly) who remains single despite enthusiastic advances from the opposite sex.  ohmy.gif  blink.gif  wink.gif

Goodness me, that would almost bring down the iseekgolf forums!
