Started the first hole (par 5) Driver, 6 iron 1 metre off the green... ended up with a bogey

Bogeyed the next 3 holes to be 4 over after 4...

Ended up shooting 2 over... Only missing 1 G.I.R out of the last 14 holes...

Tightened up the swing & putting...

Could've had 64 today... I aint pullin' it either

how's the putting holding up gwannebe???

Yep, it's holding up really good. The visit I had to see golfguru Paul about this
(which ended up talking about many other things) has really helped. He
spotted my "problem" and sorted it out after watching about 1 stroke!

A modification Paul suggested for my chipping has also been reaping rewards.

All in all, really pleased.

I played a 2-Ball ambrose yesterday, by myself. Had a 39. 4 bogey's and a birdie. Hope to do the same tomorrow in the Stroke comp.

once again, the bad form continues...
started with an 8 on the first...and it got progressively worse...
chalk today's round as the 4th consecutive 18hole where I didn't break 80... unsure.gif

Hi all,

85 (nett 71) in the Taxi's competition this morning, and an 82(nett 68) in a casual game this afternoon. Played reasonably steady so I'm quite happy with the results.

Cheers,
Jim

Jim, which Taxi comp do you play in? I play with the Vic Taxi Golf Assoc, for Black Cabs.

Hi everyone,

Thats a great round gazgolf1, very nice. biggrin.gif

I've played fairly well for the last two weekends, back to back 79's. But they both could have been better. I had 34 and 35 putts respectively. If I can get my putter working again I'll be shooting in the mid 70's.

Hi,

It's the Christchurch Taxis, in New Zealand. They sent a team to the nationals and Aussie.

Great competition to play in, and good guys that don't take it too seriously.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi all,

79(nett 65) in a casual game today, first time to break 80 is the good news, the bad is that I had 32 putts doing it... blink.gif

Cheers,
Jim
