Hey all,

Currently looking at a member due to price and location have it down to Ranfurlie and Settlers Run. Settlers being quite a bit more but has pool and gym inclusions so that's a consideration.

Main concern is I know that Settlers really doesn't hold up in the winter months and becomes virtually unplayable. Ranfurlie I am not sure how it holds up.

If anyone can shed any light would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Settlers run condition report

fairways - patchy and some mud areas, good grass cover in other areas. ball picked up mud after tee shots on 4 or 5 holes, but lift clean and place.

greens : great condition and good speed. help approach shots on 2nd and 3rd bounce.

green surrounds soft so difficult to hit short and run on which was required shot on holes like 15, 16, 4, 5, 7

tee grounds: good condition
