What is the best toss you have had?  Height?  Distance?  Spin?

What is the most damage you've done from one toss?

Racinfarmer will be signing autographs from 3-5 in the women's locker room.

3 wood on 17th @ Hazlehead Mackenzie course aged 15 or so. Ball went right club was propelled at full whack left and got stuck about 4m off the ground up a pine tree. 2 other clubs followed trying to knock it down. Had to walk down to the green keeper shed and blag a ladder, got pelters from my mates for weeks. Never thrown a club since.

Watched an ex pro toss his $2k Scotty about 20 metres left and several mts up into a gum tree, that was funny because he had to putt for the rest of the round with his sand-iron :)

It stayed up the tree for two months until he got it down with a ladder from the shed.

Every time I went to the 13th tee I looked over and it was shining in the sunlight !

Best toss I’ve ever seen was the 2nd hole at Leonay; short par 3, old mate must have tossed his wedge 100m from the tee and it got stuck in the fork of a tree near the green.

The golden rules of golf for tossing a club: the golfer must always throw the club in the direction of play so as to avoid time wasted retrieving a club thrown in a non forward direction.

Golf is a brutal sport and mental side when we don’t golf well. I saw guys threw their putters into the water hole 5 at Southern twice. I saw at least dozen times, guys broke their drivers. Like or not, I packed the broken driver into their bag. I called a moment of madness. As a partner, I like to support them and acknowledge their pain is my pain too. Prefer to keep an eyes on them for next few holes, kinda” Ï am here, partner”. Painful to watch...

Funny, only spoiled who are cool partners and great company :-) :-)
It would be a wonderful golf day for you and OB pairing. Since both of you are Victorian, use cart and get on like a house on fire. I am sure both of you spoil each other right?

Very funny, Della.

I've had the displeasure of travelling with OB in his cart and it was an experience that will never happen again, in my lifetime.
Apart from continually trying to run his playing partners over, he has a speed control problem coupled with owning the middle of the fairway.
The others just have to learn how to play around Mr. Phil when he's in full flight :(
Jon...
ps: I appreciated being driven around but lost more hair than I currently own !

You must be really soft, Jon. Others are happy to be chauffeured frequently.
And I'm yet to run anyone over, although if idiots get in the way, it could happen one day. My (new) passenger yesterday did pass a comment along the lines of "this one goes well", but he was happy to buy me a beer afterwards.

A mate of mine chucked his putter from the 3rd green down the track towards the 4th teebox. A distance of about 30 metres.

One of the blokes in the group got to the putter 1st, picked it up and chucked it 20 metres into the bush.

Mate says "what did you do that for?"

Old bloke says..."...well, you obviously done't want it"
