delighted to be the 2019  ISG B grade champion. happy to have beaten my little mate dancer.

Its too hard in A grade.

PS I note my score of 110  would have been overall second if competing in A grade.

congratulations to Snappy Matt, great scoring .

Thanks to the committee Deege, Goldy, and Mouldy for another good year on OOM and Bacon tours, I am just finalizing the program for 2020 and it should be up next week.

I should congratulate my Nephew Lord Nelson, who has not been playing long and following his 39 points today, has already dropped his GA from 25.5 to 18.2.

with some bunker practice, and some lessons from coach, he is a big chance for B grade next year, or maybe even A grade.

off now to enjoy my new grandson, before heading to Europe for 3 weeks.

have a great Christmas everyone

There's some irony in the fact that the winner and runner up in the A grade event on the day....were in B grade for the EOY standings.

congrats all to the winners and grinners of the day and year of the oom's  you all did great job

in this day and world there should be enough trophies to give to 1st position to last position so no body feels left out

also those that are gender neutral should be able to choose their own tee off area .  if there is a kids tee and i resume an oom or in l4golf event whatever it is i  identify as a child under the age 10 even though i am 48.  this way i may avoid naga

anyway glad you all had fun  and the golf had won the day

Hey Oz, you can play from the shorter Gold tees at any OOM but it will still be evaluated to the daily comp and you'll always be a chance at the NAGA mate !

Jon...

ps: no Curnow and you still can't drive a cart down the hill at the 2nd - BH in the wet :)

There's some irony in the fact that the winner and runner up in the A grade event on the day....were in B grade for the EOY standings.

Its also ironic that the last 2 OOM NAGA winners have also come from A grade..

Both these matters are on the agenda for the next committee meeting.

Thanks all for the nice words.  Very happy to be taking home the title.  Thanks to my playing partners for enjoying our chase for glory in good spirits.

Sorry I couldn't stay round for the speeches but I had 60 folks at my joint and 10kg of lamb kebab, most of which is inside me now.

Had I given a speech I would no doubt have highlighted my biggest achievement of the day.  On the 6th, I went to tee up and the tee had lost its point and wouldn't go in.  Holding tee and ball in one hand I thought to throw the tee into the long grass.  I just forgot I was also holding the ball in my hand, something that ink would never do.

The ball took a lovely airborne journey with the tee and was never seen again.  Usually I save the throwing of golf implements until at least having started the hole, but it was good to get it out of the way early on this occasion.

So I guess as a two time Goldy holder I'm now in esteemed company, along with Ari and that dodgy gym teacher from 1974...

See you's all next year on live4golf.  Lets make the first round at the frog a massive one.  Can I bring my own cart?

Well...another year of OOM is complete and I've "held up" my standards......still haven't won one.   :(     On my death bed this will be my greatest disappointment that will flash across my eyes.   ;)

As for yesterday...it was a great group to be with.   Carson, Muzz and Sissssssssssty.

Still can't believe that MUZZ gets away with playing to a double digit handicap when he consistently has 40 + points....and especially at HIS home of golf, Gardiners Run.   78 off the stick....**** me.   I must admit you dropped a lot of single putts which helps to keep the score ticking over.

Carson.....can't believe that you only finished with 35 points after all the birdies you had.   :o    I know it's tough off 5 hcp, when you don't get shots and have to birdie the hole just to get 3 points.   Some of your putts were so steady and you were dropping them from everywhere....just some of the short one's in the heart...might have hurt you.

John......you snuck up on me as I didn't realise you were scoring so well.   As for MUZZ...still not sure how you get away with a double digit handicap.      Well done on your R/Up in the overall...definitely a player who preforms well under pressure and in the "BIG" events.    ;)

Thanks to the usual people who support these events by organising or turning up every game.   If the numbers drop off then so does the event and that would be a shame.

Just a little note in ending...…...thanks everyone who asked after Rees (Beef) and my welfare.   It is comforting to know that mates have your back.  Appreciate all your support.
