Hi everyone

Many of you saw the note from Bruce Young a few weeks ago https://iseekgolf.co...or-your-support which noted the end of his involvement with iseekgolf after nearly eighteen years .

Well as part of the same ownership decision my role which has varied over the past 9.5 years has also come to an end.

A decision by the owners of iseekgolf, M-Power MSL, to realign the focus of iseekgolf.com as well many of their other international companies has seen dozens of team members leaving the company. That is fine its part of big business decision.

This forum community has helped bring many people together as lifelong friends, myself included. There is uncertainty of what will happen next with the forums and who will run the site and what the site will even look like. The NEWS section has already been taken down from the homepage.

There are underlying friendships here with many, the great times at state events and Nationals as well in small group catch ups. Im fulfilling my commitment to run nationals in a few weeks but next year and onward will be from a new home.

www.live4golf.com.au is now available, a clubhouse for anyone that wants to hang out. Its in very early days but we can create whatever we'd like, there is no restrictions on it. Its named after Paul Jordison, an ISG member that passed away a few years ago. Weve had a few people weve lost too early in life.

I want to create a space for people to come together around the game of golf, and to hopefully give connections to others if they are going through challenging times.

As a community platform in its formidable years Id love your support to help grow it, improve it, and invite more people to our crazy bunch.

Need Mods!  lol well need traffic first;)

Thank you so much for all the support over the years, the friendships that have been made and the memorable moments at Nationals.

Cheers Madam  see you in a few weeks to the ones playing.

Wow.
Certainly the end of an era, but whatever happens to this site, lolz have been had and awesome friendships have been forged.
These friendships will live on regardless of where we spend our time online.

Thanks heaps for all your efforts Mike.
Looking forward to catching up at the Nats.

I've also signed up over at L4G.
Hopefully it evolves into a site that was just as fun as this was during its heyday.

Had the feeling (based on events & comments) that things could change. A disrupted world we now inhabit.
Thanks for all your time, patience and care for this group of idiots
We almost don't deserve you.

To all those ISGrs who shared the course & forum, thanks. Let's keep teeing off!

Sad to see this happen Mads......but as the saying goes - Nothing's permanent.   The beauty of it is that all the things you've learnt over the last 10 years will help in developing a newer and better site.    I'm sure a lot of the "regulars" will cross over to the "dark side" and continue to have fun, as we have had in the past.   Looking forward to the new experience.....if I can log in, of course.  ;)

ha ha that is true fell into the role as no one else to do it-  did what I could with what I had to work with.  When you work in a asylum, you do tend to end up like the inmates.

thats what I thought too! lol  yes L4G look snew- happy to evolve it based on what the community wants. Need a community first;)

Re content moving- yeah no easy way to move posts over.  different systems, but also no way to export that I know of, plus get me in a big trouble if I could!~
