Who's going to pay the $millions for the huge safety fences necessary to protect the outsiders?

It's the old airport problem but on a smaller scale. (Build airport, create convenient nearby housing, plane falls on house, area declared dangerous, close airport)

If those people living near golf courses want a green area for exercise, let them take up golf, which is suitable for people of varying fitness levels or lack thereof.

  1. Battery powered MX bikes with a track that runs parrallel to the fairway in the rough ( now really rough) and a connection between the long winding tracks across the fairway under the drive carry area, just out from the tee. Treat it as GUR.
  2. Open on Monday and Friday beyween 4-6 p.m. for  MX bikes.
  3. Runners and Bicycles Tuesday and Thursdays 4-6 p.m.

More members! Still no real reduction in golf time ( most comps are over by 4 p.m.)

Safety issues? If I was teeing off, the centre of the fairway is really safe area to stand.

I can spell reasonably well, even if in American at times. I cannot type well , so please look for the key I intended to use within one key of the strange one I used.

Boomerang farm has a new BMX mountain bike track. Winds through the woods. I can’t see bikes and golfers bothering each other much. More income for the club and more people eating and drinking in the bar. Win win as far as I can see.

Ahhh I wish, but if it goes centre of the fairway close to the tee, the ball will end up way left at the end of the drive, unless I push it by not keeping my shoulder line still. A work in progress for sure!
