Thank you for those who have posted useful stuff.
I have discussed this with some sales staff in shops who I must say have been very honest and helpful.
I post this for future reference for others.
It appears in Australia the best way to send climbs is auspost or courier.
I’m told basically not to attempt to send clubs in a travel bag in this way. Has to be a cardboard box. I now have a cardboard box of correct size to fit clubs in my bag. Will pack it tight and careful and use a club protector.
Bringing them back with me I’m thinking of just doing the same. Will be a little awkward but the alternative is buying a travel bag and shipping that out with the clubs too.
