Been crying out for this since he insisted on playing Zac Dawson every week, despite him doing SFA apart from giving away free kicks.

Onwards and upwards Freo.

Can't believe the former St. Kilda players have suggested he go back to the saints.    What a loser mentality.

many of clubs have done that before and have had success  Alex Jesaulenko  is 1 person to have left a club and  returned as a coach and won a premiership..

i am not saying Lyon would do the same,  but if he has the backing of the players and board  and the members want him back , then why not

however i do think Ratten will be given the job .

Strange how the Roos/Longmire coaching dynasty fills the bottom of the ladder.

Dew
Goodwin
Longmire
Lyon
Shaw

The game has moved on but these coaches haven’t.

Any team employing these nuffies is destined for obscurity.

2020 is already a write off for Suns, Demons, Swans and Roos

You’re dreamin’

Ask any knowledgeable coach at a professional level and Longmire has lost the plot. The game has evolved but he’s still sticking to a 7yo game plan.

As I posted before the season even started the Swans were in big trouble. The game plan in the practice matches was crap and that’s what he’s taken into the season.

Jesus Oz, are you actually saying the members and supporters have a say in who coaches at most clubs ?

If that was the case then some of the current coaches wouldn't make the mid season cut :)

Maybe that's been the Blues problem for the past twenty years, other than Elliot !

Jon...
