I am happy to report that my handicap ( other than the inability to play consistent golf) has dropped to 18.9  down from 20. Next goal is to get it to 18.0 before X-mas. Possibly a revision of my long term ( 16)  goal is in order, seeing that it took a fair while to drop below 20. At least I bypassed 19!

Well he is right . It took ages to get back to 18 during winter. Just because I am aware of what has to improve it is not a certain thing that I can achieve the changes needed.  I am confident that I can improve a little more. If I can score in the mid 80's for a while I will be very pleased.

I can spell reasonably well, even if in American at times. I cannot type well , so please look for the key I intended to use within one key of the strange one I used.

This is your GA at 18.9 correct ?

So playing handicap is 20/21 depending on where you tee it up ?

Keep chipping away (closer and making more 1 putts). Keep the ball in play. Hit stress free shots. Follow the way of the playa. Ignore the drivel.

GA at start of the year = 9.9

handicap end of year = 9.4 (no more games in Golf link this year)

upon reflection:

rounds played = 44

broke 80 = 7 times.

worst round = played to 18.4

best round = played to 6.7

average played to hcap = 12.5

goal for 2020

  • play more stroke rounds to make me more accountable = less stableford rounds
  • take 2 shots per round off game.
  • play more rounds on Gippsland and Golf Victoria seniors circuit
  • go undefeated in club pennant
  • get back into top 25 players at my golf club
  • make top 8 in club championships
  • break 90 every round and try to get back into A grade on the Live4 OOM golf tour.

That is an ambitious list. Well it would be for me anyway. I am not sure I have enough time left to get down to 10, seeing that your worst equals my best.

I hope you achieve a lot of your goals. You have to aim high.
