So the Wannabees can beat 14 Kiwis, grain of salt time. I don’t know of any game where a red card has more impact than Rugby. It is simply game over.

Having played the game, at relative high standard, I do not disagree with the impact of a red card but I would also say up until the Red Card the Wallabies were the better side on the park and were pressing hard, yes the card made a difference to the score but Steve Hansen (All Black Coach) even stated this at his press conference.  Changes made to the team appear to help Wallabies and the positional changes made to the All Blacks didn't.

Good to see you have had a fun trip and are returning full of joy and goodwill Rob

Other than Collingwood supporters the Wannabes supporters are the most delusional in Australian sport. Probably because the sport is still amateurish.

Before I went away I was visiting OP sports med. As I was early I watched some of the Rebels training. I’ve seen fitter blokes at country 2nds AFL games. They only have to run a maximum of 7km per game but I now understand why an 80 min game only has the ball in play half the time. The only thing missing was them having a *** and a tinnie.

Definitely had an epic trip but have come back quite knackered. I’m overflowing with joy and goodwill, just ask my partner. Hopefully, starting back on course with 9 holes on Friday or Wednesday next week.

I think there is probably an AFL thread where you can regale all who care about why the players are fitter, more skillful etc etc and the AFL management is more professional.

No need, it’s self evident.

So you are saying that for a blatant act of foul play, in this case directed directly at the neck/head of an unprotected opposition player is okay..... and that you are happy for the player to stay on the field.....

Steve Hanson didn't dispute that his player deserved to be sent off....

There are direct consequences for illegal acts in union, unlike AFL or League and the refs take the time to check with TMO and act. Credit to union for looking after their players on the field even though the end result of a sending off can change the game a players welfare on the field these days must come first....

And as I have stated before I would be saying the same if it was an Wallaby player who committed the offence...

The Wallabies clearly had the ALL Sooks rattled leading up to the send off and as to what the result would have been at full time with 15 a side who knows but the way it was going the Wallabies actually looked the more composed and organised team

Attacking the head or just a bad tackle it was a sin bin not a red card

You need to use your arms in a tackle the shoulder charge has been outlawed for years, Barrets right arm was tucked in and he lead with his shoulder.  IM Learn the game before you comment like this

IM

Here is a replay of tackle

Take note that after halftime there was another replay shown and Phil Kearns than said I want to change what I said previously, now that I've seen the tackle from that angle it is differently a red card offence

Watch the Video above he ***** his right shoulder and tucks his arm in and hits Hooper that is deliberate which is an immediate Yellow Card and because he hit his neck and head which makes it a definite Red.
