Just one question. Why didn't the great man simply drop near the point of entry in the first place? Or maybe after his second time in the drink? Maybe the angle was better from the drop zone?

There was talk of speith dropping in a place that was less favourable of him on 12 2016 Masters

Could be still adjusting. I must admit that it's not something that immediately jumps to my mind when considering the "back on the line" relief option. I could easily see myself making that same mistake of forgetting that i don't have to drop on the line and can move sideways within the relief area.
