What's your most feared shot when you are on the course?

And what is the one shot in all the time you've been playing that you remember, and why?

My most feared shot is any where I have to carry over water, luckily there is only one par 3 with water on the course where I am a member.
My most remembered shot was on this same hole, landed 15 inches left of the pin and jumped sideways for a hole in one,, it was meant to happen.

Colin

Can i name more than one...?

1. A chip to a short flag from bare muddy type ground around the green.
2. From the downslope in any bunker, but especially wet sand.
3. Any putt on the 18th at Royal Charlestown...

Most memorable yet annoying shot was a dodgy hole in one. I was by myself and it was my third practice ball to the same par 3. Nobody with me to witness it, not during comp sheesh i might as well have not bothered.

The 5th at Northbridge off the plates and when the wind is howling!

Its 183m, with a 40 m drop, there's water if you airmail the green, shrubs short, trees left and right, no room for mistakes!

Chip over a bunker to the green is my voodoo shot, earlier in the year i was playing in the Renamark open and had that exact shot on the 7th par 4 hole, distance to the pin was about 10m with a nice large bunker in my line, landed the ball 7inches from the hole.pity i cannot do it all the time but at least it is possible. :?

7th hole on the RTJ course at The National (2nd on the old routing). 139m with a valley between tee and green, and surrounding it. Valley is filled with trees: making the green look like an island. To your left is Bass Strait.

It's all in the head, because any other 7/8 iron to a big green poses absolutely no problems. But this one does. Once you get over how beautiful it is, you realise how scary this shot is.

Hardest shot - the next one.

Easiest shot - the 4th putt (wonder how Karrie feels?)

Isn't golf fun?
