What is messed up?

Happens a lot in amateur events. The top seeds can be mentally flat after winning the medal stage and anyone who qualifies can play. No pressure either on a player who qualifies towards the bottom.

Happened to Nathan Green many years ago. He won then medal stage of the NSW Amateur and got touched up in the first round of Match Play.

Match Play can be a strange game, especially 18 hole Match Play.

Yeah nah... that’s not what’s messed up. I lost a bet on that one but the +6.9 before two -8s go in is messed up.

I wonder if at the Australian Amateur Championship anyone was happy to putt over the marker if it was on their line?
