Confirmed Starters:
Schmuck
Birdie Killer
Detour
Commish
Zookeeper

Dancer

Still 1 spot available, PM if you want it.

2 x carts booked - please pay proshop direct.

I plan to be there before 9am.

Please bring $10 comp fee to partially cover prizes

Suggest using warm-up nets on Southern end (M2) of 'new' clubhouse which is now adjacent to the relocated proshop.

NTP's on 9 & 18. (Ball prize or money if we do Barnezys' $2 trick :) )

See you all there.. we should have most of the course to ourselves :)

Thanks Charlie,

Who’s taking the carts? I will cart if spots available, my legs will be shaking after mountain bike ride today.

Tee off at 9:30 as planned, right? I need to drop the kids off and come straight over.

Myself and Zoo will be in one, not sure about the other.

Is Kiama closer to Pennant Hills than Tronno? Asking for a friend...Say no more!!!

Report

Forecast coupled with few drops of rain around 8am caused me some unnecessary worry for what was a great day for golf at PH after all.

Six loyal ISG'rs teed off together once BK hurried to the tee after dropping off the kids.

Zooeys 2 onto Copeland rd, belied what was to be a good day thereafter.  :)

We stayed as a 6 for a while swapping around until we settled into 3s moving faster thereafter.

Course was in good order minus some of the greens suffering fungus outbreak and mini tining (coring) to remediate the same issue.

Scores:

Zookeeper  33 pts

Schmuck    32

Detour        31 cb

Commish    31 cb

Birdie Killer 31

Dancer        26

Reports of an eagle on 12 with a loong putt by Zooey and a birdie (details unkown) show a good round.

We all had some highs and lows - would have been some good 4ball scores  ;)  B)

Detours 21pt back nine put the countback beyond any doubt, nice finish Phil

Thanks to BK & Dancer for sharing the fairways (and elsewhere).

Good day shared.

Myself  - had 18 front and a lucky chip in bird on 10, thinking it may be a good day, several 1 pointers soon fixed that. Wished we could have seen the greens as they mostly present, they are a little less fun at the moment.

Thanks to Detour for the donation of a magnificent artistic trophy of a golfer. Somebody will have to post a photo to Blacksnake for approval. I feel this is way above what is expected

Cheers to sharing your day gents!

Echo all your thoughts Schmucko. A great day and your hospitality as always was exemplarary. The course is a good test of golfing ability which certainly tested my resolve. Shame about some of the greens, but as I said today they are in way better nick that my home track. I’m sure they will be back in no time. Once again a big thanks for the invite and look forward to a Sunday stroll (Sunday cart for me) in the future.

Thanks Schmuck for organising this event and the hospitality, I would never want to miss a chance to play PH (even when the missus was in hospital giving birth to our kids :))

Thanks everyone for coming, especially Schmuck, Dancer and Detour for sharing the walk along the fair ways with plenty of catching ups.

Sorry I have kids duties otherwise I would stay longer to catch up.

Looking forward to the nest one.
