Happy to completely disagree with you in every possible way on this.

The idea of Santa—a gift-giving deity who comes bearing gifts in the heart of winter—is ubiquitous across Western cultures for centuries, from Germanic pagan Yule festival and their god Wodan (strikingly similar to the Norse god Odin) to the Dutch Sinterklaas and the English Father Christmas. Going back to the fourth century, Saint Nicholas was a Greek Christian bishop known for giving gifts.

So Santa may have been commercialised by Coke, sure, lets run with it, but invented by Coke? Nope. Didn't happen.

Obviously the concept of Christmas and giving is central to your lifestyle. Importantly giving should be done for no reason, that is no reason involving self importance.

Giving time is my way of helping, as funds are not available to do otherwise, however time gives much more than monetary help as it gives the recipient the knowledge they are important, giving time helps the mind of the recipient which in many instances is more important than gifts, giving time helps with the determination of the persons worth to society.

It would be an honour to win and be at your national golf competition but alas being in Australia is not on my agenda, I hope there are more deserving attemps to win your prize and the ISG community take it seriously.

Go Placegetter, you are the tops.

Hey mate, you are right I did mention “fiscal” in a previous post however gifts of time are often far more valuable. Completely agree. In a small way I’m hoping to make a better Christmas for someone. Let’s see how it unfolds. Ben.

The prick and his friends wrote all over it in texter.

Then he just gave it away.

I think I did a good thing today ...

See, there was a few young kids hanging around the take-away shop today when I went in to get me hamburger for smoko ... anyway's one kid say my hat, a Callaway golf hat and asked if I played golf. I off course responded appropriately, and told the little snot to mind his own business and to f.uck off out of the way.

So.

I figure that's not fiscal.

I gave away some advice for free (mind own business)

and

Gave some directions (where to go)

Surely a worthy entrant in this here competition?

On Friday night a few of the team at work came out for dinner and drinks as a way to celebrate the season and blow off some steam after a long year.

At the conclusion of dinner one of the girls said she was going to meet some friends at a club and asked if we would like to go as well.

As it would have seemed a little rude to say no, I agreed to go and would meet her their with a couple of others.

When we got to the small club in Chapel St Prahan it appeared to be a Sisters only night. With some persuasion I was able to gain entry to find wall to wall women, all dancing and drinking and having a wonderful time.

I danced, I drank and I too enjoyed the female only vibe, and the sisters embraced me as one of their own.

It truly was the best ever Christmas dinner After Party I have ever attended. I must admit the attention I received while shaking my groove thing to "Don't cha" by the Pussycat dolls was nothing less than extraordinary.
