in order of the most enjoyable course to play

 

1. Old Course at the National

2. Moonah Legends

3. Warrnambool.

4.  Cape Schanck (black tees)

5  Royal Melbourne East

 

5 Leongatha

5. Victoria

5 Curlewis

(outside of Melbourne, Lang Lang has been a very nice play to visit)

 

For those interested, the Kingswood course closes and locks its gates on 1/12. However, there will be a history of Kingswood for a while - the word is that Victoria GC has purchased the back 9 fairways. As with all holes, these lush fairways are in beautiful condition....comparable, if not superior to other sandbelt courses...pleasing to know these fairways will enjoyed by golfers at VGC.

Totally agree....last time we were at Kingswood they had taken out most of the fairway on the 2nd hole. VGC can't go wrong
