Club houses are open maybe 10-7 every day. Out of that 63 hours how often would the pool room be occupied ?

I'll have a guess at 10 hours on a busy week.

Total waste of space and money.

This is how clubs get into strife with huge debts for new clubhouses.

Some other stupid wasteful ideas that have been touted in our future clubhouse design include library, kids play room and squash court

Eastern at Yering has a Pool Room with couches and a bar and massive flatscreen. Next to it is a kids play room.

I see wine fridges in the same light

But your not a wine drinker and they occupy very little space. About 4sqm including my latest purchase.

I like playing pool/snooker/billiards and watching sport. Therefore I qualify.

Plus I've drawn the limit at 500 bottles, which is less than 17 months supplies if Armageddon happens or I get a terminal illness diagnosis.

My only issue is forming a consumption plan.

We've got space from clearing out an old locker room.  We've also got a snooker table donated.  Costs almost nothing and we would prefer making a sports bar to filling it up with pokies.  Gyms are the other one people are putting in.

Gym will be a nice increase in your insurance premium especially since it probably wouldn't be supervised.

I'm pretty sure there is no gym going in there.
And if I knew there was I would have stayed there.

Agree , total waste of space. To have two or four people playing games of pool you need at least one staff member to attend. Just doesn't work, and if they aren't spending then it is a total loss. Leave it the Pubs on the way home Boys !!
