I volunteer 40 hrs per week, for the love of volunteering. I draw the line at cooking bbqs though. Someone else can do that siht.

Sounds more like a pub for old pisspots than a golf club.

Is there a difference?
Same, same for bowling clubs.

I doubt very much that you 'volunteer'. They actually pay you to attend.

They pay me , I give them my valuable time. Still won’t cook a bbq, someone else can still do that siht.
