I had to have a look as I didn't know either    having said that I can see how JB maintains his

handicap ,,,, he rushes on to the course wastes some shots early ,,, play wells for the rest and

as such doesn't have to pull up at the end whilst being able to still pick-up the free drink or receive the

balls for a win ,,,, what a player !!!

JB keeps teaching me new lessons every week,,,,,I feel like I am the Grasshopper to his Master Barnes,,,,

( Kung Fu TV ) ,,,,, wax on wax off (Karate Kid ) ,,,,, grasshopper this is how the golf carts will still look new.

I think I will be able to make a return to playing with his kind help. I have all these new ideas to try,,,

Played again yesterday with the Yellow ProSoft. Hit really well off the tee with the Driver performance very good when I made a good strike.
I’m going to give it another 2 games before trying out a similar ball from another OEM for comparison

So first 18 holes since 25th May..
I had received a delivery from the man during the week.... decided to start with a known ball Yellow Pro Tour V
Started
Birdie
Par
Double
Pàr
Stood on 5th tee and watched 4 unmentionables land on fairway.... replaced yellow with a white ball from delivery from a known maker...
After good start got the wobbles from lack off play and hit some what the flock was that shots and a few push or pull putts...

Considering some of the shots on display one was more than happy to sign for a nett 71 and watching playing partner implode and finish double, double, triple to have a nett 72 and loose monthly medal by a shot

I've seen it written in various circles how well certain golf balls perform in the wind ... well today in conditions that were interesting to say the least the yellow pill performed exceptionally well..

With the day featuring wind followed by extreme gusts followed by more wind and occasional gale force gusts....
In amongst the wind we had some drizzle, some sago snow, some sleet, some sunshine ... these conditions were on repeat....
Oh and the temperature was farking ordinary to say the least..

Pro Tour yellow golf ball performed extremely well... held its line really well through cross winds, tall winds and head winds and at the end of day one was able to sign for winning score..

Thanks bloke

It was windy but not to the extent of Magenta Shores...... but it was constantly changing direction and strength depending upon if was drizzling, Sago Snowing or blowing dust....  :(  :(

35 points at end of day, 4 pars in a row.... happy days
