I've now played five and a half rounds with russell and although he's lost his shine he's still playing well. He's been quite the adventurer having been swimming, met trees and survived numerous hits on the head.

Hi Boz, Do you fancy sending a couple of the balls to a 3 handicapper from Ireland?

Hi Styles, Send me a note on my info address at the visiongolfball.com website, as I have a group of international test pilots . These guys are real keen and give me plenty of feedback. If you don't mind waiting I would prefer you to try my new UV-X2 prototype and updated X2, as that would help my 2008 efforts. :-) We just had the Australian Pitch and Putt Triple Crown and the Irish cleaned up!

Rebels in Midland Gate have Visions in stock. Even a mix "sample" pack which I thought was a good idea.

Hi Andrew, Got all the info and thanks for that but the system didn't give me your email address, so can you get that to me as well. Cheers, Boz.

I took Russell out to twilight golf last night - I certainly got some comments about using a yellow ball. I managed to birdie the first hole, a soft 140m par 3 - a feat that I've rarely managed before on this particular hole, so Russell had me sold straight away. Russell drove beautifully - looong and straight - at least the equivalent of any other ball that I've tried. Unfortunately I can't tell you how well Russell performs close to the green, because time after time I bladed him (note to self - down and out you fool) to the far side of the green or beyond. I don't know that I'll pull him out for a saturday comp (yet), but if the other Vision balls behave like russell, I'll certainly be giving them a crack. And by the way - that bright yellow ball stands out like the proverbial dogs nuts - so even when not on fairway he was very easy to find. Thumbs up from me.

Thanks Angler, One of the ideas behind the colour was to help you focus on watching the ball, to help players keep their head down on shots.:-) Back to the drawing board. lol

Congratulations on a great product Boz. Have used a few of the Expert Balls and feel that they compete very well. They don't provide quite as much check around the greens as a ProV1 (but what else does - I know I just opened a massive can of worms :-)) but for me compete more than competently against a whole range of balls which I won't name for the sake of not wanting to attract hate mail. Good stuff. I may even try a yellow ball out of curiosity.
