A big congrats to Maxxon for taking out this year's Masters.
And yes, he is an even bigger karnt than Reed.

From what I've read his family lives within a couple of clubs from Augusta. This is a less than fashionable part of America.
PR is a wealthy bogan much like Nathan Tinkler. They act in a similar fashion and will possibly end up in the same place.
Meanwhile, when Cam Smith stops getting asked for his ID to get a drink he'll win a major. Love his cool and calm demeanour.

Everyone’s got a story, who knows what’s the truth.
I think Reed’s got a few inner demons from somewhere...time will tell if he’s a victim or a perpetrator, sometimes maybe both

I thought it was a pretty good masters but disappointed to see the overhanging tree branches on 18 deciding a major. I don't think trees should prevent a particular ball flight from entering the field of play or approaching a green.

Yes, I'm one of them.

Speith should have hit 3 wood on the 18th as he clearly doesn't like the tee shot.

Not a fan of P Reed but for him to hyperventilate for 18 holes and keep it together to win shows how determined the bugger is. I tips me hat to him. The closer it got the more he looked like a puffer fish.

I don't contribute to the Murdoch Family trust fund so it was really nice to have a big golf tournament on free to air.

Agree totally...probably the only FTA tournament we'll get this year.

and.....I would like a dollar for every time I've heard a golfer say "I should have......"

Yep, know him really well. Played plenty of his ‘Open Air Boardroom’ corporate golf days. Did a little work with him as well. Champion bloke.

He’s really well connected; played at Ellerston with him because he hosted a corporate day for David Gyngell (ex-best mate of James Packer’s). He worked with Butch Harmon in the states for a while too.

Interesting set make up- and no sponsor would have cost him a few $$

Reed has put together a mixed bag with a Ping driver, Titleist and Callaway irons, Artisan Golf wedges and an Odyssey putter. He used at Titleist Pro V1 ball at Augusta National.

“This has freed me up to use whatever equipment I want. On the equipment side, I’m just out there doing my thing. I’m using whatever I want to use,” Reed said. “I’m able to put 14 golf clubs and a golf ball in the bag that I feel are the perfect fit for me. To do that and come out with a my first major, it was a risk. But it was a risk that was the right one.”

The clubs Patrick Reed used to win the 2018 Masters:

DRIVER: Ping G400 LST (10 degrees), with Aldila Rogue Silver 70X shaft

FAIRWAY WOOD: Nike VR Pro Limited (15 degrees), with Aldila Rogue Silver 80X shaft

IRONS: Titleist 718 T-MB (2), Callaway X Forged (4), Callaway MB1 (5-PW), with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts

WEDGES: Artisan (51, 56 degrees), Titleist Vokey Design SM5 (61 degrees), with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts

PUTTER: Odyssey White Hot Pro #3

BALL: Titleist Pro V1

GRIPS: Golf Pride New Decade MulitCompound
