Protein powder will not speed healing. Why do you suggest that?

Well I guess after using it regularly in my fitness program that it has helped repair the muscle tissue after my workouts. I am no expert in the matter, but if that is the case, then I am not in my own believing that. I will still use it. Just a simple suggestion that I made. If I am wrong then I stand corrected.

Sorry Turf. I’ll get off my high horse. Tough day at the office. Didn’t intend to put down quite that much.
I think normal protein intake is quite sufficient for healing unless you are intending to bulk up. And even then it’s probably questionable.
Gentle exercise stretching and ice if needed all good and worthwhile. Topical voltaren gel will help too. Use the osteo one it’s stronger.
There’s some evidence that a firm band placed a little below the elbow helps to take some strain off a tendinitis at the elbow.

All good advice. Been using the Voltaren but not the osteo version. Will give that a go. Already bought and tried the band and it made little to no difference.

The obvious and smart move would be to stop playing if it doesn't really improve. But, I've never been accused of being smart.

Best to spend a little time on the sideline now, rather than drive past golf courses in the future and die a little inside, knowing how you used to play this frustrating game and haven't been able too for the last 30 years due to your unsmarts

May take a bit longer to repair Uppity, but surgery isn’t always successful, well it probably is, it’s just our attitude to putting in the effort during the recovery stage that makes a difference

By yourself a decent protein powder to help repair process. I use this brand. D5BE84C1-B85C-4EFA-B76A-9F5315CDA153.png

55g of sodium per serve. Must taste horrible.

Must be a printing error. On basic maths this would be the equivalent of drinking the Dead Sea. In fact the Dead Sea would taste better.

I believe you. I’m still confident there’s a printing error on the nutritional panel. But I do believe you Col.
