I know right, it's almost like they're saying they cannot afford something because they're just a poor pensioner

But said poor pensioners don't expect others to buy everything for them.

Quick question while I have you, where's your pension money come from?

Partial refund of past taxes. The govt have had use of my money for decades and now it's payback time.

That's only fair then.
How much more would you reckon they're owing to you? Working in a bank, I'm sure you paid them a lot over the years

Both the indigenous people on ABC news this morning stated that Australia needs another day to celebrate together as one, if we did, will that stop the protests from happening on future dates of 26/1?????? Asking for a friend

I haven't worked it out Bumpy. One would have to factor in compound interest, inflation and a contribution toward admin costs of running the country. But my taxes were a hell of a lot higher than my super contributions so I imagine I'm drawing from a deep well.

And this is why Australia is such a beautiful country, blokes like you have dug deep to look after the little guys.
Keep on drawing Sir, you've clearly earned it.

I've only had one garage door repair when some plastic hinges fell apart (a panel door). Cheap modern crap.
