I've had a few HIO's, and also an albatross.

The Albatross was during one my former midweek practice sessions so it didn't count .... (3rd hole par 5 at Beacy, 3W to about 200m out, then 6 iron down the hill).

I enjoyed all the HIO's and the Albatross, but the best part of it for me is seeing the playing partners reactions .... so the HIO's clearly have it for mine. (This could change if I get another Albatross in comp mode with my regular playing partners in attendance) .... :)

If you can hit 3 wood/6 iron on a hole is it even really a par5? ;)

Depends on the time of year :) ......

According to the scorecard on the web tis 447m. about 230 of those are fairly steeply uphill (The drive),  then it turns sharp left at about 210 out and goes downhill all the way.

It is rated index 18 though, which amuses us when a lot of single figure guys (including myself) ....... go and rack up a 6 on it. :D

Albatross for sure

Of course as Bump has alluded to if it's on a par 4 that's doubly perfect

Last Sat, FC had his ball stop 2ft short of an albatross HIO. Tapped it in for the eagle (3 balls). He won the pro pin on that hole ($45), won the day with 42 points ($50) and also another $75 on one of those $5 'beat your handicap' thingies.
