With the tourney @ Kingston Heath & starting this coming week I have been considering going to gawk on one of the days - probably Friday - as the format for the day is 'better ball' rather than foursomes.

Are you considering as well?

There are a lot of great/interesting groups to watch however I think I will definitely follow the lads from Belgium for a few holes.

You might feel like your swing looks like an elegant swan floating on a calm lake with the sun glistening down and creating beautiful light reflections on the water,

But it more than likely looks like a drowning elephant.

The tickets are shockingly expensive they obviously are not interested in attracting anything that resembles a big crowd.

I might go down on Sunday for the day.

TV looks a better option. Agree the pricing looks a tad expensive and it is hard to imagine massive crowds at KH for this event.

The concept of play looks far better than a 72 hole shoot out and that will attract some numbers.

With the entry fees set as high as they are you have got to feel for the sponsors .... halve the cost and numbers would double - simple as that !!

Im going tomorrow to watch the pro-am. $40 tickets are a bit rich, but on the pro-am day you get closer to the players and many of them and their caddies are up for a chat. Just waiting to hear back what time the morning group is hitting off.
