I tried the app on my Galaxy S7 with the Cobra F7+ driver I bought and it was useless.

Only partially recorded one shot then the App kept crashing so I uninstalled it.

Happy to say that it works flawlessly on my iPhone 8.
Sometimes misses the tap-ins, but if you stop and address the ball rather than walk up and tap it in, it'll capture it correctly..

FYI I have been talking with Arccos re fixing a few things (they had course names around the wrong way at Eastern) I mentioned that my buddy who is using Arccos 360 on his Android phone is getting terrible battery life while using the app (cant even get a full round in before bat does on galaxy S7)

Anyhow Arccos are aware of this problem and will be releasing an update "soon" that will fix this problem.

I am having no bat problems using the app on my IphoneX - only uses about 40% bat for a full round. its working perfect for me  :)

For anyone that has been using Arccos 360 and having battery issues mainly on Android phones (iPhone dont typically have battery issues using Arccos)

Arccos is releasing a new device called Arccos Link - it is a small "TicTac" sized box that you clip onto your belt while playing a round. With this device you no longer need to keep your phone in your pocket.

It is now in pre order and can be purchased for us here in Australia from their UK web site for delivery in next month or so - I have ordered mine and ends up costing about $125 inc shipping.

Here is a link to the Link (see what I did there!)

Also for Apple Watch series 3 & 4 owners a new app will be released soon for the watch that will allow the players iPhone to no longer have to be in their pocket.

I highly recommend the Arccos system as it works great (as long as your phone battery can last 18 holes)

These new updates/releases will hopefully fix any battery issues and also the need to have your phone in your pocket while playing..

I will post an update once I have received and tried out my Link.

P.S. I forgot to say there is a 25% discount on the Link during the pre-order time, not sure when that ends, once its ships I guess?

Mine has stopped working on my Samsung Note 9

I can check the batteries so it recognises all the sensors but on the course they don't record any shots at all

I am having no joy even getting the sensors to pair with my Android phone. Perhaps I should get an old I-phone specifically to use Arccoss Caddie? It isn't filling me with confidence.

I can spell reasonably well, even if in American at times. I cannot type well , so please look for the key I intended to use within one key of the strange one I used.

I have used Arccos Caddie for a few rounds now.

It collects data when you hit each shot and only misses a few, like short putts. It is easy to check and add shots at the end of each hole.

It does a good job of giving you a realistic club shot length rather than your best shot. it gives longest shot, average shot,  smart short range ( 70 % shot) and also a pictograph of your most frequent shot range. This is useful if you use the club for partial shots.

The App also collects your score, number of putts and lists them at the end of the game ( 1,2 3 putts) It gives analysis of your misses ( L/R, short /long) It also provided feedback on your average performance in all areas of the game, then you can see if you have improved in the specifici area that you have been working on. It does so by giving you a handicap rating for each part of the game. If it goes down you are doing better.

All useful stuff for practice sessions in the future.

The other feature that is useful is the "ask caddie" button. If you push it pre -shot it will suggest  a selection of clubs for the hole, based on your past shot lengths. Some times it makes sense, but on other holes I have ignored it. You can also select  alternate stratgies it offers.

The GPS function seems accurate in comparison to my range finder. The aerial view of each hole  looks good. You can put a cursor on the screen to tell you distances to bunkers etc.

Previously I have used PIQ/ Mobitee system. It was similar , but with Arccos I don't  have to tap the sensor before each shot and I can't lose it ( expensive error) . IMO the Arcoss is a better system.

I found that by linking your phone to your PC you can get better visual feedback via the Arccos Dashboard  function

this is the view of history of my shots on the same hole. It is a bit busy but gives an idea of patterns of misses.
