"It's way better than I thought I'd see," says 50 Best Teacher Brian Manzella. "The main overall theme looks like he's going with less side bend coming through the ball -- more of, say, a Ben Hogan level-shoulder finish."
Georgia teacher Brandon Stooksbury's analysis mirrored Manzella's: "Much, much less side bend through impact, and much more rounded, flatter finish position," says Stooksbury, who is based at the Idle Hour Club in Macon. "It looks less violent than before -- and from a biomechanical standpoint, it should put a great deal less pressure on his back."

Not a lot of credit given on here. He isn't stupid. He will have been prepping for a while on the sly. Pump him up with pain killers and the like.. Beware the wounded golfer!!!!!
Wounded tiger to pounce

Tiger seems to be using his pelvis differently to his swing in the noughties.Tiger Woods has registered for the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont
OAKMONT, Pa. – Tiger Woods has not provided a date and time for his return to championship golf, but he has done what is required to play in the U.S. Open here in June: register.
Woods, 40, a three-time U.S. Open champion who is recuperating from back surgeries, is exempt into the national championship because of his 2008 victory at Torrey Pines.
Yet, to participate in the 116th edition June 16-19 at Oakmont County Club, he needed to register by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Woods registered at 4:33 p.m. April 4, the U.S. Golf Association said.
http://golfweek.com/...m-back-injury/
My guess is he suffered an injury to the sacroiliac joint through late counter-nutation or extended nutation into the follow through. His present swing looks like he counter-nutates much earlier.
He appears to have more weight on the left side into the back swing with the driver than before Foley, which will reduce the right lateral bend of the lumber spine during the downswing. I don't know if this is a good thing because right lateral bend protects the lumber spine during spine rotation.
The lumber spine is designed the move laterally and to extend. Right lateral bend does both and locks the spine on a position that rotates it counterclockwise. Less RLB increases the risk of twisting individual vertbraes in the lumber area.
IMO Tiger is done as a major winner.
