That's an interesting statement about extended period Cup given that before 2015 Jordan had only 1 USPGA win - which is hardly runs in the board over an extended period.

Jason was world number one for a week which requires performance over two years so there is a level of extended form. He was second in the Masters and US Open in 2011 and in 2013 got 3rd on the Masters and 2nd again in the Open. So he has performed at a very high level for a few years now.

Jason Day sure seems to hate Pro Ams... I reckon he pulls out with illness from over half of them.

I think there was a mention that he had a re-occurrence at a later tournament late last year but didn't mention it.   Hopefully over the break he's got it further tested and under control.

He probably doesn't like playing with amateurs

I sent him a text, I think I woke him up

Then I called him to ask if next time he’s here if he’d play with some amateurs

He said yeah of course he would, he’d love to and would make time

I said there is one fella from Paradise Palms Resort and Country club championship course who would love to play

I said I think he’s off scratch and is the number 1 pennant player

He said what was his last game, I said he had an 84

He said that is great shooting, was that over 27 holes?

I said probably 18 Jase, and then he said he was too busy to play

That's pretty mean of JD - just because the bloke has one bad round. I'm sure he generally scores something beginning with a 6!

Next time I talk to JD I'm going to have a go at him about that.

If he starts with a 6, no wonder he shoots 84! :)

and you have never had a bad round? I've just come back from a 4 month lay off through injury. Bit of practice and I'll be alright. At least I put my cards in when I play bad, do you? I think jas would have more fun having a game of golf with me and my mates we would probably take him out marlin fishing after golf. Let him know we always got a spot in our group and the boat for him.
