Bought and Brought.  It drives me to distraction when a relative mixes them up and passes the error down to the next generation.  How hard is it to get it right.

Another one is the use of versus as a verb rather than a preposition.

Stop it. OB is tearing up!

I'd almost suspect my job is done, but no, a long way to go.

Actually, I'm surprised that so many actually know what's right.

Yes and will have similar drainage issues and is certainly not Sandbelt.

Heard today that a meeting has been arranged with Eastern on lessons learned which is great news.

Just to get the thread back on topic.

Thats a positive committee who are planning ahead.

Cleverly doesn't actually say it's a Sandbelt course.  Marketing 101 stuff.

might be other way, all those Huntingdale members will now be able to get a game at either of the 2 courses at Sandhurst, which are great to play.

remember Sandhurst time sheets are not exactly bursting at seems on weekends, thats why they run heaps of social groups, because members dont play.

What huntingdale member is going to want to play those courses. Only one of the sandhurst courses is playable, and it's really not that great. The other is poor. And as for patt river well that's only going to be 9 hole anyway.

Huntingdale are getting cash im assuming from this to pay off their club house. And nothing else. Shame really.

Or first mover advantage. Patterson River is going to go eventually, they might just be jumping in early? Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing?

Pat River is an average parkland course close to the beach. Doesnt make it Sandbelt as we know....

I would liken this to the national buy/bailing out Long Island. Wtf unless there is a long term financial gain for the combined entity.

If it goes ahead i would predict that a move to sell the champions course at sandhurst as land sales would happen sooner then later. The revenue props up the three courses left

why isn't Sandhurst taking advantage of it themselves?

I don't understand why Ssndhurst appears to be in any sort of financial problem .
There are over 2000 blocks each block pays 2k+p.a. In fees similar to body corp for upkeep of amenities you then have to pay your membership to the club total for the two is over 5 k
So to me that place should be pristine

Completely different scenarios

National wanted a base closer to the city for their members to play when they can't make it down to Cape Schank

Nash are one of the strongest clubs financially going around and don't be surprised if they don't either take over another city club or build two more courses down at Cape Schank
