Rumour as fact

That Huntingdale, Sandhurst, and Patterson River have signed a heads of Agreement to look at possibility of forming a new Super Club.

apparently this will go to a vote in early 2016.

Huntingdale does seem to be the biggest looser in this lot. It's like they are kind of being outcast from the sandbelt and now they are scratching around looking for new buddies.

on contrary Luke

The new business will be called Huntingdale group.

All three clubs seem excited by the merger.

Can't go ahead without members vote, will be interesting how the other Huntingdale members feel about this.
Of course Sandhurst and Patterson River clubs and members will be excited but Huntingdales, not so sure.

Wow,

If this goes ahead Huntingdale is going to get slammed on the timesheet.

Apparently Patterson River members will receive 6 rounds a year and Sandhurst members 8 rounds a year.

63 holes and sale of excess land at Patto infers Patto becoming a 9 hole course.  With limited access to Huntingdale does that mean Patto members will effectively move to Sandhurst ?

Wow,

might be other way, all those Huntingdale members will now be able to get a game at either of the 2 courses at Sandhurst, which are great to play.

remember Sandhurst time sheets are not exactly bursting at seems on weekends, thats why they run heaps of social groups, because members dont play.

I guess the big question now is

How many other Melbourne clubs will talk about marriage.

and how long before Rossdale fails.  The migration to Keysie is gaining momentum.  Evidently, there are another 15 locked in and just waiting for their current memberships to run out.

I understand that 7 day memberships at Keysie are now closed.
