Took a long walk down struggle street today. Only memorable thing was hitting a drive into the rough then putting the next one to 4 feet from 130 out for birdie.

Trol was a monster ! It was pretty depressing usially playing my 3rd or 4th when everyone else was hitting 2 haha.
Bernie and snorkel killed it as well, saw a few eagle chances go begging. Thought snorkel was a sure thing the way he played 10-18.

Thanks for the day everyone was good fun.

Ok.
Thanks all the organisers. Yep I don't get to these things much anymore. The travel is a bit much these days to cover in a day.
But fun was had by our group indeed - my opening 9 holes was something extraordinary.........crapola, poo poo , stinkfest down right rubbish.
But quality laughs. Smergs hitting out of water, peaksy (or whoever you are) hitting ball left handed and dj making a 3 on 11 from the depths of hell were just a couple of highlights.
...
Cheers to all and I hope to get to a couple next year but I hear that they are east side massives again so frog and possibly sands will be it.
..
peace out biatches!

Had a great day. Great to catch up after an extended break from ISG days.

Smergs bath was impressive, BMans first few tee shots that had a total height of less than 4 feet had us laughing pretty hard. DJ hit a lot of great shots.

Great recovery from BMan after a shocker on the first few holes. The White boys would have had a solid score if they only needed to play 9 each.

Was pretty happy with my game, didn't butcher too many shots.

Thanks to the committee and sponsors, great job.

Congrats to Snappy and Muff on the overall win.

Only real negative was not getting to play with Bully, really sad to hear his bad news. We'll have to tee it up another time.

Thanks all for a good day.  I was glad to arrive in one piece after Ink insisted on hiking up his skort while I was driving him over the Westgate - I nearly ran off the bridge.

Played OK, a lot of missed opportunities after good drives.  The snap came back which seemed to be from my set up changing a bit.

Glad to share the chocolates with you Krish.  Just as well I didn't know what score was needed or I wouldn't have gotten out of the pot on 18, where I was in one of four fresh unraked divots  (hmmmmm, would have hated for that to cost an OOM, we can do better).

Fehan - enjoyed the round, that drive on one would have gone into ISG folklore if we weren't in the last group.

Krish - rocked the red shirt, some real grat putts on the back nine.

Benny - always love a round with you mate.  You striped it once you remembered your lesson from the range, before that not so much.

The committee and Mrs Oz all rock.  Goldy is a superhero and has a well earned break from all the work.  He will be hot favourite next year without the admin load.

Thoughts for our mate Bully.

What a great year of golf organised by our esteemed committee, with special mention to mrs.Oz for her help. I can only imagine the great effort bringing all the events that so many of us enjoy. Thank you all!

Sad that we couldn't have Bully today. Take care mate, we're hoping to see you real soon.

Thanks to my playing partners today. You guys really made it enjoyable.

Jolls - You towering drives and solid iron play was a joy to watch. You had some bad breaks which belied how you actually played.

Dallas: This man can hit a LONG ball. Can't believe you outdrove my 3 wood with a duffed hybrid... ;) Showed some deft touch on the putting green too!

Ghetto - Always a pleasure walking the course with you mate. Anytime you need playing tips from a B grader, just give us a ring....  Seriously though, props to you for making it all the way round today. I know you were playing in great discomfort at times.

Bring on St Andrews Beach!!!

I'm glad you all had a great day. Sorry I couldn't join you.
Committee wise, I don't deserve any thanks because I've really done SFA. I'm just there to do handicapping when necessary.

As usual, a massive thanks to the OOM committee. Your tireless efforts are legendary and another well-run year of OOM events is greatly appreciated. Truly, the extent of your hard work may sometimes go unnoticed, but looking at 2016 lineup of courses, it looks like you've outdone yourselves.

To Bernie, Snorkel and Lukos, it was pleasure to walk around SL with you boys. The chats were enjoyable, the pace was fast and the golf was pretty decent. A number of cracking shots from Bernie and Snorkel, who actually started off well with 20 points. And Lukos, you did well for someone with as many injuries as you've had! Thanks for the round gents, I look forward to seeing you at future events.

To everyone else, let's face it, I am the undisputed king of long drive. A graders like Steve might as well just pack it in when I'm done here in B. But on a more serious note, it was great to meet more of you today and catch up with people from the past. As much as these events are competitions with little competitions within themselves (one of which I am dominant at), the friends and the social aspect are what I stay for.

Until next year you plebs!
