Loved Pulp Fiction but I prefer the Coen Bros to Tarantino.
Coen bros just a tad more subtle but very similar styles.

Tarantino is Exhibit A in the case against writers directing their own material. He just loves his own work so much he can't stand to cut anything. Kill Bill for example should have been a single film. He writes great scenes and I think he's very gifted but would be better served by some more stringent editing.

Just on the topic of Noah, and all things religious, why do pictures of Adam and Eve depict them having belly buttons?

Dead heat for worst with French Lieutenants Woman and The English Patient.
Several hours of pleasurable drinking and sex wasted watching them.
They were so bad that I didn't even get laid for having sat through the entire movies.
Possibly my snoring in the cinema destroyed the moment.
At least you had a sleep before golf the next day.

Not sure how you chaps can narrow it down to just one best film so I'm going with a top ten (in no particular order):
1. The Third Man
2. The Wild Bunch
3. Rififi
4. Dr Strangelove
5. The Blues Brothers
6. Apocalypse Now.
7. Pulp Fiction
8. Sons of the Desert
9. Hard Boiled
10. Vertigo
Tarantino divides opinions (and that's got to be a good thing) but I really like his work and I particularly like his passion for the medium. He's a film buff and a nerd and I love the fact he still shoots on film - Ultra Panavision 70 for Hateful Eight!!). Unfortunately I am going to have to go to Sydney to see it how he wanted it to be screened. I'm a an analogue kind of guy
