Just picked up a pair of 2015 Ecco Bioms at the DFO outlet at Morrabbin Airport. $360 marked down to $259 and a 50 %discount off a second pair of shoes or anything else in shop.

Grab a mate and go buy 2 pair, what a bargain.

I do not represent the shop or have anything to do with Ecco, just a happy shopper. I hope all the reports about these being the most comfortable shoes are correct.

Are they just the ripple sole or with cleets?   What do they look like?

Nearly all the shoes in my wardrobe are Ecco.  Super comfort and quality in dress shoes, casuals and golf shoes.

Tried on a pair of Ecco Boom 2 hybrids. Very comfortable. Couple of questions to those who have Ecco shoes:
1. Do the hybrids give enough grip for golf? I am used to cleared Adidas does with super firm grip.
2. I'm in between sizes. 43 has very little room at the toe, and is very snug over the arch, but not painfully sore. 44 had about 1cm at the toe and feels "looser". I'm worried that the 44 week stretch too much and the 43 may not stretch enough. Any recommendations?

WITB:

Callaway XR Driver

Callaway XR Fairway Woods 3W, 5W

Titleist T200 Irons 4I-9I, PW, SW (48 degree)

Titleist Vokey Wedges SM8 54S10, 60D12

Odyssey O-Works Red Two-Ball Putter

Handicap: 20.9

Miscellaneous:

Bushnell Pro XE Laser Rangefinder

Game Golf (on iPhone - no tags), used with Bose AR Sunglasses

Wore the spikless both days this week with no problems but my mate, wearing the same model, who is quite tall and rips into it slipped and injured an ankle on the tee.

I'm a 43 and after 12 months they have not stretched at all.  Sorry about that.

Ah thanks for that.   I was at DFO Moorabbin last Tuesday....but I've got 3 pair of shoes at the moment.   Don't think I play enough to justify another pair.

Wore for yesterdays walk in the rain at Keysie, pleased to report that my feet stayed dry and didn't hurt after the long round.

So money well spent.
