It's a small contribution from the Feds

Sounds like the return of investment is good. Swimming and other Olympic sports participate in international events and championships as well so it's a bit misleading to talk as if they only do the Olympics

One of our top pros could triple the total funding without feeling a pinch - it would be nice to see them contribute a portion of their winnings back - something like a percent or two when they earn over a million maybe?

Keep an eye out for Karl Vilips. Young aussie ripping it up in the US. Too bad he's adopted an American accent. Youtube him, he's like 13 and has a swing speed of 114mph.
