I will admit I am part of the problem, I play too fast and make everyone else look slow.

I gave up Saturdays when a group of 12 of us into 3*4's played in a maximum 3.30 hrs. The club went to a 2 tee start and made all rounds 4 - 4.45 hours making the fast players play as slow as the slowest players.

My personal belief is that extra time did not result in any better scores for anybody.

When I see players on the 1st tee all playing with their phones it is almost certain the round is going to be slow.

yep you are slow mate

not noticed on the T but the green absolutely.

when we played at s/lakes when we found the snake and Kioiom tried to look down the wrong end of my laser i have nearly gone to sleep on the greens.

It may be an "A" grade thing??,

I dont think so.

Most peeps dont like to be told they are slow & most peeps are to scared of the conflict involved with telling someone they are slow.

like you alluded to we all know how to go faster but no one it seems can pull it off.

weetie and his damn gripping and regripping (a la sergio) is a classic eg

i have had digs for slow play esp on putting too so i asked mattysnaphookerson & Russssssssssssssssss and sev others (whom i respect opionons on) if i was slow.

They gave me their appraisal and so i sped up

again the little legs is a burden.

respect Bru

would that have been on the 6th (long par three)? my ball was oscillating constantly and got blown off its mark twice... couldnt help being slow there!!!

But cheers cuz - will take your advice into consideration and see if there is room for improvement. Although there is one guaranteed solution.... hole the first put.

You might feel like your swing looks like an elegant swan floating on a calm lake with the sun glistening down and creating beautiful light reflections on the water,

But it more than likely looks like a drowning elephant.

Checking wind direction, humidity and temperature levels and for those that are really studious something called geo-bounce and possibly the local magnetic field fulx as well as the direction of the tide.....

That what smart phones are for and will definitely give any player an edge but possibly slow down play for the day.

I set my gps phone app up on the 1st tee, obviously not while it is my turn to hit. Not sure what the issue with that is.
