A great inclusion for the sand spray that happens in the bunkers at Keysie.

How much sand are in those bunkers, it's ridiculous and overkill tbh ?

They should pack down in about 3 or 4 years time !

The flat areas in the traps packed down ages ago.
The faces still have to follow suit though.
Not to worry we have a local rule for that, or better yet, you could just hit a target when hitting your approach shots.

You sure do like to ***** about courses that someone has been kind enough to invite you to.

Agree about the local rule for plugging in the faces or up slopes but it should be "place" the ball in the bunkers. Doesn't matter where you take a drop it will semi plug and leave a harder shot than should happen in a reasonable situation.

They could take 50% of the sand out until the end of this coming winter when it packs down properly and then put the extra sand back. It would then be perfect by this time next year but that's a really common sense approach.

The general condition of the course is quite good, fairways have a healthy cover, tees are good, greens look good, roll out well but bounce abit during the journey, bunkers are poor and verge on unplayable in places.

After being a member at KGC for 13 years and playing at least a thousand comp rounds of golf, I feel very confident to be able to critique the condition of the course in any season.

If you're not playing a course every week and haven't been a member there for several years, I imagine it's best to keep unsolicited critique to yourself.

This is most definitely the case when you think it's a good idea to take a post about sunglasses down this rabbit hole

This is the best time to be objective about a course in my opinion and the members like yourself that play regularly often lose sight of the little things around the course that can go off.

I was told and believe the greens were playing pretty good for the pro-am, this is great but should be the norm rather than the exception.

Please don't get upset that I've initially used the sunglasses as a vehicle to originally give the bunkers a spray, they deserve it.

Oh and I used my Bruce card for the game if you really need to know and condescending doesn't seem to suit your style !
