Put a good swing on any ball and it will go straight.

Any straight drive you've ever hit would have gone equally straight with a Pro V
The crap ones would have been crap regardless of the ball you drove off the tee.

I'm more concerned about the gentle fades that start on the left side of the fairway and finish on the right hand side.

I'm more concerned about the gentle fades that start on the left side of the fairway and finish on the right hand side.



If that happens you haven't hit a fade, you've hit a cut.
Play a gentle fade with a Pro V and it's still going to be a gentle fade.

hey guys,

 

saw this easter sale at golf clearance outlet. NEW SLDR drivers for $239 plus $11 postage. was a couple of other deals too, but the driver caught my eye enough to pony up the cash and order one.

 

the link below is for the white version, but both were on sale. seems really good value for a highly regarded club.

do you mean online virtual bargain bins? or you you went into the store? i was aiming to get one from golfonline in a few weeks, but this is 80 odd cheaper. almost thought it was a late april fools jokes.

once it arrives....i only have my final irons decision to make. (Cally xr's versus RSi1's, with the Rsi1's being a few hundred cheaper) rest of bag has been upgraded over last few months.

Hits well enough for me. As with most modern equipment or upgrades, its got more to do with satisfying our retail urges rather than gleaning extra performance.

With that said moving the weights around really does have an impact on your side spin.
Because some idiots complain that my sig is too large:
