Hi Guys,

I've been away from the game for a little while and have had a couple of practice rounds lately. I was playing off 7/8 when I stopped playing regularly about 12 months ago and my swing feels shocking. I thought I would put up a video and see if I could get some tips.

Any advice would be great, I couldn't believe how bad my swing was when I saw it on video. Straight away to me it looks like my stance is very narrow and there are some serious issues with my rotation. I have had some problems with my left knee recently and I think this is sub-consciously causing some problems as well.

Normal speed

Slow motion

Try not to be too harsh  :D

Prop the camera up and level with the ground. That's my advice!

Would like to see a down the line, hard to tell a lot from that camera angle.

It looks a bit like you drag it inside early on the takeaway but not 100% sure with that angle.

Sorry about the camera angle guys. I could only get the GoPro out there. I'll try to get a better angle next time.

I think try and get the club a bit higher at the top, but keep it a bit simpler by shortening your swing i.e. stopping the backswing at roughly parallel to the ground. Also bring the club back a bit straighter from the ball. Low, slow and straight!
