I'll be giving the chrome soft a try when they are available. After watching that review if they perform like that at 30/doz they would be hard to go past value wise.

oh the last post isn't necessarily just aimed at robnewy

but what really makes you want to try another ball

is it because it is new on the market

is it a ball that actually suits your need

or is it a ball to use because the tour players use it

this ball has me intrigued and wouldn't mind trying using it

but is it going to work the same as the current ball of my choice

Same as in all aspects of golf, the quest for perfection.

I can honestly say that I reckon it makes f-all difference in most cases as to what ball I use.

There are some that I hate...Srixon soft feel comes to mind...but other than that, I reckon it makes 2/5 of 5/8 of fk-all difference.

I use pro-softs, Q-stars, AD333s...also tried Bridgey RX330 of some description...all much of a muchness.

Winner Moonah Legends 2013 ISG Nationals
Winner The National 2013 ISG Nationals
Winner 4BBB 2013 ISG Nationals
Winner Stink's 3 Club Challenge 2015
Winner C grade OOM The Sands 2016
Hole-in-one Growling Frog 14/1/17 5th hole 137m TM RBZ 5 hybrid, Srixon AD333 ball
Growling Frog GC Matchplay Champion 2017
Winner B grade OOM Curlewis 2018

Other, less impressive stuff...(I know...it's marginal...)
R/Up ISG Nationals 2013

C Grade LD Growling Frog 8/2/14, 11th hole, TM R1, HOF Patriot shaft, testicles of steel
3 Birdies in one round The Glades 2015 ISG Nationals
C Grade LD Growling Frog 26/12/17, 15th hole, Callaway BB Alpha, HOF Patriot shaft, same old testicles of steel
C Grade LD Growling Frog 11/8/18, blah blah blah,,,,this is getting to be almost monotonous.....

C Grade LD Growling Frog 1/9/18,...maybe these are now so commonplace I should just stop listing them

Never contended for the trophy named for me

Low Handicap point 12.7 9/4/16

Finally...and most importantly...
Smoldy....when only the best will do.

Doesn't matter if I hit a hard distance ball, or a soft spinning ball.

They all go little distance and spin like fark when i slice :(

Although i got some Callaway Supersofts for Xmas. Looking fwd to trying them now.

Oz im interested because, to me, a ball has to feel great of the putter. Plus i like a soft feeling ball on my wedges.

This is why i like a variety of balls. Vision Prosoft, Bridgey B330RX, Cally Hex Chrome+.

I am far from a good player, but i feel confident in my golf when im using a ball i love the feel of.

And i farkin hate Pro v1 and v1x

Also, nothing wrong with my current ball. I play all of the ones I mentioned in my above post.

I just reckon it's another ball that would suit my feel
