Seriously try the fish oil first. Much cheaper than a set of graphite shafts. And has the potenti to help the rest of you life too.

Medication, vitamins, fish oil, massage and regular manipulation and use of the areas.
That gets tougher when you hurt all over.
I take Mobic everyday, but vary the dosage based upon symptoms and get blood tests every quarter to make sure my insides ars coping...almost 5 years and all is ok so far. Fish oil, krill oil, glucosomine, chondroitin, all help too.
I find if I dont keep using my body actively it tightens up in 2-3 days.
Sleeping with good posture, keeping neck and back supported is important too.

Getting old can suck :)

Get into the graphite shafts mate.

Steelfiber, RIP Tour, recoil, even AXE on a budget. Perform better than most steel too. I haven't got an R&R at home for a while, but I'll try catch you at some stage, and you can have a go at something I have at home.

They won't help the problem, as such, but they will really limit the jolting and jarring.

Not fish oil capsules unless you are willing to swallow 12 a day. You MUST get the liquid fish oil because the dose is 12ml a day. A couple of capsules a day is sub therapeutic and will do nothing.
By the way I am not only a fellow sufferer but also a heath professional who got advice from a top rheumatologist, so this is legit advice.

Just cut the tips off and squeeze out enough to get your 12ml dosage

Arthritis is one of those progressive diseases, if you catch it early it can be slowed down but once there is joint damage it comes down to pain management unless you have joint replacement.
