And how exactly did you add to the thread with that insightful contribution?

I was asking a question.
I was reading the thread and it made it very difficult to follow and I was wondering as to what happened for it to end up that way. Did he swear or something for Adminstration to delete such posts?
If you see this as not adding to the thread then you must also realise that you have added exactly as much as I have by asking your question.

For those who cant be bothered reading through the whole thing I'll paraphrase it for you.

S2S was a hack who thought he could play a round to even par or better within 12 months. He got all sorts of help from lots of people but was struggling, even though he had gone from shooting 100 plus to mid 70's.

With one day to go he was still no hope so he lied and told us all that he did it.

The End

The book comes out in Paper back doon.

IMO a high class achievement from a projected handicap of 27 would be single figures. The differance between 10 and say 0-5 is the short game expertise which I believe would be impossible to master in 12 months. If this goal was achieved (27 to 0) you would have a best seller and a movie to boot. I would have to say that the task is impossible.......... sorry !!

03/07/2008 - Handicap 8 (8.3)
1/1/2009 - Handicap Goal 5 (5.4)

**Progress**
19/7/08 - 8.1
26/7/08 - 7.9

huh? if your playing consistently to +3, you have gone way past scratch.

No, i believe he means shooting 3 under on any course consistently. Due to courses being easier than what there par is.. e.g course rated 70, par 72, therefore shootin 69 is playing to a +1 handicap.
