Well, I think Kiwi may have turned me tonight.... He gave me a hit of his 21* Adams Idea Super Hybrid XTD with a FUBUKI™ AX Hybrid 350h Stiff shaft in it.
All I can say is WOW.... this club just went up and long and straight...
I had my little PRGR radar device and I was swinging at 90mph and with my last hit, the ball speed was 130mph. Due to the darkness, it was very difficult to tell how far they were going, but it would have to have been around the 200m mark.
Even with the crappy yellow range balls, they felt awesome coming off the face. Imagine what a real ball would feel and act like.
So now this has got me thinking. Do I replace the 2 iron with a hybrid? Or do I replace the 3 wood with a hybrid? As they do come in a 15* model. Hell, it may even replace the driver if it can consistently hit 220-230m (would that be a realistic distance for the 15*?), and stay on the fairway.
