Hi All,

 

Could you give me some tips on good golf schools or coaches in Sydney?

 

I am not a beginner (Used to play about twice a month for 3 years) but haven't been playing golf for 2.5 years, and just trying to get back to it.

Your geographic location might help. Nort much sense in suggesting something that is going to take you 1hr plus to get to,

I live near the CBD but willing to travel 30 - 40 min for a lesson!

 

Went to the driving range yesterday!! I can't believe how hard it was! My own clubs felt sooooo heavy (Dynamic Gold S300 shaft). Do you guys think it will all come back after a month or two?

Come and join us at the Nationals on the Central Coast in October.  You will meet and play with more coaches (some have other names) than you can handle.

Glenn **** at Kareela Golf Club is great, was previously the pro at Bonnie Doon.  He has helped me take my handicap from 11 down to 5 in 3 months.

I'm looking for a new coach either west or south west sydney. ideas?

depends what you are after.. I've found that each teacher has a different teaching style, so try some different coaches to find the right one for how you understand.

 

But I can highly recommend Max at Moore Park Gold Academy. just a logical, non overload with ideas, straight forward coach. He is very good at explaining why something happens (i.e. looking at ball flight and why it did what it did) and not just what to do.
