Today possibly marks my retirement from golf. A solid 21 points meant I raised the bat on both 9 and 18. Just not interested right now.
My trip to the Middle East means the earliest back on course will be April 12th. The there's only 2 months until I take off around the world for 2 months. Not sure if I'll then bother in mid-August.
Probably just play the ISG events including the Nats.
Frankly, my personal life is far more interesting and rewarding right now.
Going away with my partner next week is a significant test. If, as we both expect, it goes very well then there's 2 months to consolidate the relationship into at least partial cohabitation.
Then the big test of time whilst I'm away alone for 2 months and Michelle is stuck in Melbourne or possibly off on her own trip with family.
Almost a start again situation in mid August I think. So I need the time to put into our relationship or, if I must, start the dating game for the 3rd time.
We discussed the car options today and there was mention of towing a caravan. Possibly spending next year lapping Oz. maybe I need to buy some lawn bowls to take with me.
Life is very good, golf is shite but I don't actually care.
Take the time to experience it all.. Caring about someone and enjoying them is special. Not caring about golf but enjoying it and the time you have with mates is also special. Care about and enjoy both. You not only deserve both, you need both for balance and longevity.
