I'm going to try it next time I'm at the club, I think I could get a pretty tightly bunched group at 85m provided I can hit 5 in a row properly

Pfft. Give me a kids blowup wading pool at 77m and my Pro V1s will get washed

I have doubts you'd hit an olympic sized pool from that far.

Come with me to Upper Bukitima in Singapore. If the empty paddock across the road from our condo is still there I’ll show you how.

I paced out the distances and went up and back with 5 balls for an hour most Saturdays and Sundays. So easy to get it right.

If only I had the same practice facility.

are you at least going to offer me candy to hop in the plane with you?

I would think the chance of any paddock in Singapore still being empty is less than zero.

Bit harsh Snappy. I can't remember my last Hillary. I'm pretty sure I had none at the Nats.

BTW save your pennies and buy a decent Brunello. They're the definition of a cracking Sangiovese. Opened a couple of bottles last Friday and they were awesome.

if I was to be seeking advice from peeps on the inter net thingy re my golf struggles I’d be also asking from those that reply what their current GA is.
For me that would rank the answer from omg yes to far cough

I agree entirely (this time) Kiwi.

All I was saying is what I do and it works for me a lot of the time.  e.g. Today, I hit the flag stick twice with chips that were coming nicely to a halt, but neither dropped.

 (16.9)

If I could do it all the time, my handicap would be lower.

That's why your handicap isn't lower.

My swing has improved since we last crossed swords, but my handicap hasn't.
Maybe my swing is still rubbish.

When I was a little kid my dad use to call crossed swords.......both of us peeing in the toilet at the same time and crossing wee paths......each to their own.   B)

I thought that waving golf clubs around would have had some resemblance to crossing swords. But all I did today was wave them as little resembled skilled golf shots.
