Thanks Deege
At present it is chasing a yellow ProTour V ..... to much dust to find a white golf ball....

Had the best 33 points I've had in ages on Saturday..... sanded, un-mown greens made putting very tough..... oh it was blowing up to 50kmph ..... happy golfer

Golf club they will work it out... one day

Kiwi's daughter has a target on her

Old mate will be sent off at midday next Thursday...... I'll be moving heaven and earth to be there but as I am the only person who understands the kill floor computer system who knows....
Caught up with one of his good mates and very regular playing partner today...
"How are you doing mate, R U OK?"
"Ummm yes I think, but I just don't understand"
Had a good yarn with him, he will get there

From a bad week I somehow managed to plant an idea with a couple of people, that being not only the club but the police force, rescue squad, fire brigades and farmers need an R U OK day....... from a little idea it is snow balling and looks like a goer for next year. Have a day when all are welcome, golfers and none golfers, run the bbq and have happy hour priced beer and make it a day for the community .... god only knows the farmers need an escape from their dust bowls....
Hopefully those whom have adopted the idea follow it through....

And on behalf of me and a friend thanks, you know what I'm talking about and that is all that matters

Just let me know the date please.

So Thursday was the Service/wake for old mate.....

The Service for want of abetter word was not at a Church is was at Golf Club and was done by the family and old mates friends.....

Was a story of his life through the good times, old school friends, old foot friends, old cricket friends and his golfing mates sharing stories of their encounters with him...

Followed by a toast in his memory and the news that his ashes are to spread on the fifth fairway.....

As a side note I think he would be possibly the only golfer known to loose a monthly medal on count back after signing for a nett 59 :o :o :o

Yep...you better believe it.    :(    Perhaps more so in the OOM days but I was only saying last night that I "won" a countback once for the NAGA......managed to not get the NAGA as I "won" and I have never won the NAGA with the coppers.    ;)
