Whiteboard is lower launching & low spin
Blueboard is more mid launching with a bit more spin
Two shafts that have legendary status, just depends on what sort of ball flight you're after brotha.

I'm after a lower ball flight. Kinda over the balloons I keep hitting. So whiteboard would essentially suit a driver and blueboard fairway woods and hybrids I'm assuming?

That's the way plenty of tour guys go mate. The new generation blueboard , the Diamana S+ plays lower than the original & plays very nicely if you find the whiteboard a little harsh

I have driver with an old whiteboard in it. The shaft is one of the best I have played.

Tiger Woods has old school blueboards in all his woods at the moment (103gm x stiff and probably tipped to the max) so they must be good.

You won't find a better shaft than a Diamana.
I have the red in my driver and a whiteboard in my 4 wood.

You just have to find the one that suits you.

Check out their website.
You can find the differences between all of their shafts.

Just a word of warning not many stock clubs come with a real diamana shaft.
You will see on the shaft it will say made by diamana for (and then the company's name).

Titleist 913's come with legit (not made for) Diamana S+ and D+ shafts.  910's were "made for" shafts.

I think the new Callaway Big Bertha Alpha also comes with a legit Fubuki ZT which is a premium shaft made by the same company who makes Diamana (Mitsubishi Rayon).

I lurrrrrrvvvv the Diamana Whiteboard D+ in my 913D2. And the best thing - these quality aftermarket shafts come as standard in the current Titleist drivers:). Companies like Nike and Callaway are coming around and releasing drivers with quality shafts in them now, but I'm surprised more aren't. As good as TaylorMade's recent drivers have been (I have a SLDR as well, which I really dig), you'd think they'd start releasing them with quality shaft options without an upcharge...

I was looking for an 83X raw shaft. It seems the 1st and 3rd series whiteboards are difficult to find. The prices seem to be stable but quite expensive.

So which company makes the shafts that are "made for"?

As if one of the best makers of clubs in the world would put second rate shafts in there clubs.

This is one of the biggest myths in golf.
