Ok, I thought it might be time for me to start a thread here with a journey as others have.
As most of you know i only started 2 months ago and was very determined to get better after my shocking 134 at southport with the ISG golf day and boy was that embarrassing.
Within the 2 months i have played i have been to driving ranges on many occasions just to work on my swing and it has helped heaps. another great help is winksie. his useful tips helped me go from topping the ball and having a terrible swing to now hitting long and straight a lot more. (and his constant - "go get lessons")
i have picked up a couple of new sticks on the way with replacing my driver and getting a 60 wedge to help in those tuff spots.
im sure most of you have been noticing my scores have been increasingly getting better. i am now averaging around the 100 mark and have also submitted my first card to get a handicap. to drop 34 strokes off my original game i feel is awesome.
my best moment so far in the game of golf is hitting a 91 (bloody lucky day) and am so glad i didnt have to submit that card haha..
i am happy to say im a proud pine rivers member and am really enjoying the course and the people i have met there.. some even offering for me to come and have a hit with them to get a handicap..
next step is to go get those lessons winksie keeps on hasseling me about...
